Good luck continues for Stantax Dragons CLARINGTON - The Stantax Atom Dragons faced off against the sixth place Canadian Tire team in recent Clarington Recreational Hockey League action, coming from behind for a 3-2 victory. Scoring opened near the end of the first period on a shot from Dragon's forward Keinan Doucet. Canadian Tire responded with two quick goals before the end of the period to take a 2-1 lead. No goals were scored by either team during the second period as the goaltenders for both teams made a number of great saves for their teams. In the third period the Dragons responded netting two goals on shots by forwards Austin Collins and Joshua Cook. The final scoring drive began with passes from forward London Bossio and Doucet, who were paramount in Cook's goal to take the lead in the game. When the final buzzer sounded the Dragons Dragons had beaten the sixth place team. by a score of 3-2. A few days later the Dragons faced Home Building Centre. The Dragons were victorious 6-0. The Dragons goals were scored by Austin Collins (2), Rajbir Mann, Keinan Doucet, Scott Mitchell and London Bossio. Assists were credited to Ben Bickle, Mann and Joshua Cook.
