Registration for the Bowmanville Tennis Club will be held on Saturday, Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the tennis courts located at the Clarington Adult Centre at 26 Beech Ave. 'f Membership includes 10 hours of introductory clinics for new members and renewing members who want a refresher. The Junior and Adult clinics begin on Tuesday, May 16 and run for five consecutive Tuesdays. The fees for one year are: single adult, $75; adult couple, $125; family, $145; and junior, $40. The fees will rise on May 8. Throughout the season, the club holds .Club Nights on Mondays and Thursdays, and there are tournaments midseason and year end. Also, the club holds a Junior Tennis Camp from July 10-14. The morning session is for ages 8-10 from 9 a.m. to noon, while the afternoon session is for ages 11-14 from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $75.
