"We do this every four years," said Ms. Van belleghem, who with the help of her four sons has transformed her home into an endless array of orange, the national colour of her native soccer soccer team the Netherlands. With the 2006 World Cup in fuli swing, and Ms. Van belleghem's team up 2-0 after playing its first two games, the 45-year-old Oshawa resident says she's trying trying to beat her brother, who still lives in the Netherlands, when it comes to displaying their affec tion for their home team. "My brother is also a big soccer soccer fanatic... so we're always in competition with each other," said Ms. Van belleghem, who hails from the city of Sluis, in the province of Zeeland. "All my family lives in the Netherlands, and every lime it comes to the World Cup he sends ipe pictures of how he decorated his house, so we're trying to out do him all the time." Step into Ms. Van belleghem's living and dining room, and all you'll see is orange. There are orange garbage bags taped to the walls; orange balloons balloons on the ceilings; pillows'on her couch decorated with orange, and orange streamers; Orange soccer jerseys are also pinned to the walls, and orange flowers also decorate the home.
