Local Red Cross presents citations March is Red Cross Month and the Bowmanville and District Branch celebrated by holding a volunteer awards night at Memorial Park on March 5. There was a very good turnout of the general public and all expressed themselves as having enjoyed the evening immensely. Chairwoman for the evening evening was the Branch President Pat Griffin who opened with a prayer and then welcomed all.
