6-ORONO WEEKLY TIMES, MAY 14th. 1975 Wants open nomination In view of the uncertainty of the manner in which the forthcoming Durham East Progressive Conserative co vention will be held, there very little action going on i local Conservative politics circles. Conservatives in the balanci of the new riding of Durban East is scheduled for May 2 at the Hobbs School h Darlington. The recently held Libera Convention that saw Kir] Entwisle named as the Liber al standardbearer for the nev riding was an open convent ion. The matter of the type of nomination will have to be resolved at the founding meeting along with the selection selection of a new executive for the Durham East group.
