Can be town funding for ice-making machine The Finance committee of the Town of Newcastle after considerable discussion on Monday recommended to council that council support interim financing to the amount of the Wintario funds for the purchase of a new ice-making machine for the Newcastle Village arena. The request for the interim funding came from the Newcastle Newcastle Village Management committee. The total cost of the project was stated to tie $20,700. Of this amount $10,000 is expedted to come from Wintario with the remainder to be provided from public contributed funds from the Village of Newcastle.
