Early in the second period Omemee scored their first goal on a deflection in front of the Orono net. Trevor Lomax pushed the score to 5-1 on a fine individual effort as he raced into the Omemee end, stripped the defender of the puck to move in alone on a surprised goalie and pick an opening. It seems that whenever Orono comes up against Pori Perry, at home or away the penalty box is never empty. This game was no exception. Port Perry received 22 minutes and Orono 20 minutes. Despite the penalties it was a good game. Jeff Hartwig scored unassisted in the first period when he tucked the puck in the corner of the net. Andy Taylor scored unassisted at 13:01 of the second period. David Sheridan skating like he had never been away got a nice goal, assisted by Tyler Gibson giv- -ing Orono a 3-0 lead. Port Perry scored two minutes later. David Sheridan came out flying in the third period, he picked up a super : P ass from Scott McAllister and got his second goal of the game. Port Perry managed to put one more past Shawn Hardy who played an excellent game. The last goal of the game went to Jeff Hartwig assisted by Cameron Esler.
