Ed Fulton Minister of Transportation & Communications 3rd Floor, Ferguson Block Queen's Park, Toronto Dear Ed: It has been brought to my attention attention that signing on Hwyl 15/35 for the Village of Orono is totally inadequate inadequate as it is not noticeable. The ' singings for the various concessions are much larger and the Village ol Orono signing should at least be ol the same proportion. I trust when this is accomplished the appropriate arrow direction will be placed on the sign as opposed to the inaccurate inaccurate and now hastily covered ar-, rows on ih je present small sign. Yours sincerely, Sam L. Cureàtz tion was Deputy District Grand Master Henry Cornish. The history of the lodge show to what extent the lodge continued to assist with help in the community and Bro. Herb Murray was most active active in this field of endeavour. In 1946, through the efforts, of the Orono Lodge, Heather Rebekah Lodge was instituted fulfilling a dream that had been sparked by a former stalwart of the lodge, Bro. W.m. Riddell. In 1948 the Pontypool Oddfellow Lodge joined with the Orono Lodge and some members continue their membership with the local lodge to this date.
