Above a number of members of the board meet being Donald and Donna Robin, Derek Barnett, chairman of the Board, Counc. Diane Hamre and Helen MacDonald. MacDonald. David Newlands of the Ontario Museum Association was the guest speaker pointing out that there are now 600 museums in Ontario and that greatest growth came in the 1960s. I hope those of you who were able to watch it enjoyed it as much as I did. The Whitby Precision Precision Teams were wonderful to watch. It is worthwhile to note that there are other areas a skater can go into beside hockey or singles and pairs figure skating and dance. Tammy Barclay did two great guest solos. I think our own skaters, soloists and groups, did their very best to make the carnival a most enjoyable enjoyable one. Our annual meeting and election of new officers will take place on Thursday, April 28th at 8:00 p.m. at the arena. All parents of skaters are welcome to attend. Eventually, library automation will enable Trent's Oshawa-area students to consult the catalogue and request books from Trent's Peterborough campus through computer terminals in' Oshawa. The four-year process of library automation involves converting the existing card catalogue of holdings into computerized form, and purchasing purchasing the hardware and software necessary for consulting the computerized computerized catalogue. Library automation is a major priority of the university and will cost more than $1 million.
