Dahlia is sadly missed by her loving husband Charles Campbell and many relatives and friends. Her memory will always linger with us. Dahlia was a woman who possessed many talents and boundless energy which she used untiringly for the good of family, friends and community. She was a professional, who showed dedication to her work. She served in various capacities in nursing at the Oshawa General Hospital. She was respected by her colleagues. Dahlia was a motivated person who used her ability to motivate others. Her love of learning enabled her to achieve the highest academic honours in her chosen field of study. Throughout her life she was an avid learner. More recently she completed a rigorous program of studies and was awarded a PhD. from Walden University in the United States. Dahlia's boundless energy, led her in many directions where she made many contributions to the community. She was a member and president of the Oshawa chapter of the Head Injury Association. She was a volunteer for the Victorian Order of Nurses. In this capacity she found time to visit and comfort many people who were 111 at home or in hospital.
