'The match was the first meeting between the Flyers and the Leafs this season. . After a 3-1 loss to Cannington, the Country Cafe team were determined to come out on the winning side. Orono was first on the board in the first period on a goal by Rob Blaker off a great pass from Jeremy Caruana. But Fenelon Falls answered with two goals of their own. In the second period Rob Blaker scored an unassisted, goal to tie the game. Minutes later, Orono went ahead -3 to 2 on another great shot to the top corner by Blaker. With a minute and a half left in the second period, Orono Country Cafe mounted another rush into Fenelon's end that resulted resulted in Blaker's fourth goal of the game on a great set up by Tom Meester. Fenelon responded with a goal of their own at the 0:23 mark. Orono's goaltender, Brock Dunham, was steady between the pipes throughout the third period to protect the win.
