Orono Weekly Times. Wednesday, February 27.-2002 - 3 Clean up continues Work crews continue to clean up after a fuel delivery truck lost control and overturned on Walsh Road last week Monday afternoon, dumping 2,400 litres of diesel on the banks of Stalker Creek. (Earlier reports that 1,400 litres of diesel escaped were incorrect.) While it is unknown how much of the 2,400 litres of fuel ended up in the creek, Phil Dunn of the Ministry of Natural Resources claims there is no evidence of fish killed resulting from the spill. Contaminated soil on the creek bank is being removed and replaced with crushed limestone.
