Not only is speeding along the highway in the vicinity of the two schools - Clarke High and The Pines Senior Public a concern, at issue also are the Arthur Black (continued from oaqe 5) says quietly "Say goodnight, Mavis." By this time, the audience is in love with the woman. The whole room roars 'GOODNIGHT, MAVIS!" over their own applause. Except Mavis is not really talking to the audience. She's talking to a specific person she can see sitting and laughing laughing in the front row. It's Mavis Anne, her daughter. Mavis Pickett is the only one who can see her, but that's alright. Say goodnight, Mavis. trucks parked on the road in front of the Coffee Time outlet outlet which obstructs access to the schools' single driveway. Late last year the Ministry of Transportation added a third lane to the highway leading up to the school. Trucks parking in this lane also obstruct access to the schools' single driveway. It is felt by the OPP, who will be responsible for patrolling the safety zone, that some drivers do take more caution in these zones. Obtaining support for a Community Safety Zone is the first step of many that will have to be completed before the Zone is in place.
