They have accomplished their goal of becoming All-Ontario Champions. They did so in impressive form too. Last Friday they traveled to Thedford for Game Five of the series. Coming into the game, the teams were knotted at two games apiece. However, Friday's game solved nothing as the teams skated to an exciting, 2-2 tie. The next day the series shifted back to Orono for Game 6. This was a huge game and was a must-win for both teams. Only one could win though, and it was Orono on this day. Orono was outstanding outstanding and demolished their opponents by a score of 6-0. Eleven seconds after Thedford tied the game, Evan Moore scored what would prove to be the game-winner on a pitch shot that confused the goalie and went over his head and into the net. This was all Orono would need as Chris Moffat scored late from his own blueline blueline assisted by Steve Hicks.
