Ganaraska Forest cross-country ski day planned CAMPBELLCROFT - If you haven't been on any ski trails for awhile or if you're looking into trying out a new sport, the Ganaraska Region Conservation Conservation Authority's (GRCA) Cross-Country Ski Day may be of interest. Everyone is invited to enjoy a morning or afternoon on the scenic Ganaraska Forest ski trails on Saturday, January 22nd, 2005 during the Ganaraska Forest Centre's ' first public program of. the year. Join the Ganaraska Forest Centre (GFC) outdoor outdoor education staff at either 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.fora day of frosty fun and to get started or re-acquainted with cross-country skiing. Learn basic techniques and then hit the trails for a guided tour in the forest and finish off with a steaming mug of hot chocolate. Snow permitting, Saturday, Saturday, January 22nd will be the day you wax up your skis. The inclement weather date is Saturday, January 29th. To participate in this event you must be pre-regis- tered. Phone the Ganaraska Forest Centre at (905) 797- 2721 to pre-register and for up-to-date ski conditions. Current ski conditions are also posted on GRCA's website website at www.grca.on.ca.
