Sledding for Easter Seals Central Ontario Region Snowarama 2005 at Ganaraska Forest by Donna Wood This past Saturday, Keith Qualtrough 6, of Orono, had an opportunity that he won't soon forget. As this year's Snowarama ■ Easter Seals Ambassador, he was given the opportunity to take a "spin" along the snowmobile trails of the Ganaraska Forest. According According to his mother, Heather Qualtrough, Keith thought the ride was "awesome". Snowarama is a yearly event that raises money for Easter Seals Kids through raised pledges by the many committed participants. This year, it was held at the Long Sault Club House in Pontypool. There was a fun ride through the forest, sled demonstrations, a chili lunch, dinner, entertainment and a fantastic live auction. The event raised an incredible $12,000 dollars for Easter Seals. Shane Winters has allowed only two goals in his last three games. The Bakeshop faced QPG on January 25 and lost a close one, 2-1. Andrew Kirkbride had the lone marker, assisted by Doug Deboo.
