Mosport's 700 plus acres of private park is the place to be for one of Ontario's biggest and best Victoria Day Weekend birthday parties. The sounds of race cars will mix with the sounds of rock and classic rock music, Saturday and Sunday, capped off with a spectacular fireworks show Sunday evening. Mosport will also put the speed in this SpeedFest with a full slate of racing. Canada's Charlie Webster, the inaugural series champion, will lead the Canadian contingent into battle battle against all AGT challengers challengers on his home turf. After a 29-year hiatus, the Sundown Grand Prix returns Orono's Freedom of Dance students, left to right, Kaylyn Sojczynski, Joelle Joncas, and Katelyn Watts, all seven, display their Gold medals which they won at the recent Dance Extravaganza in Ajax. Teams from the Ontario Touring Car Championship, many racing at night for the first time, will wrap up the weekend's on- track action Sunday night with a three-hour race into darkness darkness around Mosport's 4 km undulating roadcourse.
