Bud, loving husband for 65 years of Jean of Newcastle. Dear father of Donald Grayson Hay and his wife Donna of Oakville and William Richard Hay and his wife Cheryl-Ann of Roseneath. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Bev Turner and her husband Sam of Bowmanville, and Dorothy Allen and her husband Hugh of Kitchener. Predeceased by her husband William Edward (Eddie) Warburton, parents Alonzo and Melissa Cowan, brother Charles Cowan and his wife Viola, sister Bertha Daniel and her husband Col, and grandson Richard McQuaid. She is survived by her daughter Mary Carolyne Curl (Gord) of Guelph, and sons William (Kenza) of Whitby, Robert (Betty) of Lindsay, and Stephen (Linda) of Frankford. She is also survived by her nephew -Neil Daniel of Oshawa/8 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Friday, May 20, from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 21, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Bond Head Cemetery.
