4 - Orono Weekly Times Mosport concert stage ready to rock BOWMANVILLE, ON - May 17, 2005: The sounds of music will blend with the roar of racing at the Victoria Day Weekend SpeedFest, May' 20th, 21st and 22nd. Mosport International Raceway. Raceway. is your entertainment destination this coming long weekend. In addition to the camping and racing that has established the tradition of this weekend, fireworks and music have been added to the festivities. The Mosport Concert Stage will feature a full lineup lineup of veteran touring bands and local acts to put the "Fest" into SpeedFest. Music is planned throughout the afternoon and evening, Saturday and Sunday, with plenty of opportunities' to sit back and enjoy the tunes. The matinees get under way at approximately 3:00 pm each day highlighting several local bands. As we reach the dinner hour Saturday The Carpet Frogs will take to the stage for a two-hour set. They'll be followed by The Midlife Crisis Band to play out the night. Moving to Sunday evening, The Mason Dixon Band takes over for a cou ple of hours, and then Just Alice rocks the stage to wrap up the Victoria Day Weekend SpeedFest celebrations. celebrations.
