The Toronto Lynx belong to the North American A-League and represent the highest level of pro soccer in Canada today. "Our club is often overwhelmed overwhelmed by the many requests we receive from youth soccer clubs and associations to have the Toronto Lynx go out and mentor/inspire the mushrooming mushrooming number of youth playing the world's game," says Nicole Hartrell, a spokesperson for the club. In response to such interest, the club has partnered with Ontario Power Generation to stage soccer clinics in Mississauga, Pickering and Clarington.
