Thousands of fair-goers packed Luther Vipond Memorial Arena and Community Park on June 6, taking in midway rides, food, games and lots of classic fair fun. "Friday was a bit of a challenge with the rain, the truck and tractor pull was delayed," says fair board secretary Michelle Ratte. The Province has released its new 2015 Games Trip Planner to help people get around during the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. It's available for free and for Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices. The planner will give spectators and commuters the best route, along with real-time traffic details to help avoid road and traffic restrictions, travel conditions and estimated travel times, temporary HOV lane locations, traffic speeds, road closures, parking and shuttle locations, and a booking feature for accessible parking spots. Many venues being used for the Games will operate differently and there could be new traffic rules and parking locations. The planner includes these changes.
