Friday, May 11, 2018 7 Brooklin Town Crier Quickplay, a band made up four Brooklin boys, is a finalist in Durham's Best Band 2018 competition and will perform on Friday, June 1, at the Brooklin Spring Fair on the Optimist Stage. Quickplay began in 2014 and were trained by Matt O'Rourke of Creative Math & Music in Whitby. They perform original music with various influences. Quickplay, which has performed at venues around Durham, is looking forward to playing in front of their hometown crowd on June 1.
