The Report of the Directors shews that the Institution has prospered in their hands luring the past year. The profits of the past twelve months after délneting all expenses, foot up $116, 625.41. Of this sum $84,832.66 have been paid as Dividends, at 8 per cent, to stock- holders, $15,000 added to the Reserve amount, and the balance, $16,792.75 passed 10 the credit of Profit and Loss, as a basis ' for next year's profits or losses as the case may be.
