Mr. John Johnson Jr. spent a few days visiting friends in Toronto and Hamilton last week, | Quite a number from 'Prince Albert attended the Quarterly Meeting last Sunday. The service was conducted ty our Pastor, who preached an excel lent sermon on "The Highway of Holiness." We are pleased to learn that a Juvenile Mission Band has been or- ganized in this village, and we feel confident under the leadership of Mrs, Chas Lamb, it will be a success: A meeiing will be held in the church next Saturday at 2.30 p.m. The Ladies' Aid Society will meet at the home of Mrs. J Mitchell on Wednesday afternoon next at 3 o'clock. Women's Institute Shirley The meeting at Mrs. Allen Moore's was a brilliant affair in spite of the extreme cold, over fifty being gener} ously entertained. The program was varied and inter- esting. The light thrown upon the Farmer's Daughter revealed many un- suspected phrases, of her rights. The next meeting is to be held at Mrs. Henry Mountjoy's, Feb. 11th, where Mrs. (Rev. Kidd will 'address the ladies, in, her well known happy man- ner. Let none miss this meeting as there will be much to interest every- body.
