It seems that one day last week he carried a new born calf home from the Lack end of the farm, plac- 'That night he complained of a pain in the back of his neck, where the skin had been broken slightly. Poul- tices were applied without relief being obtained, and the doctor was called and he pronounced the case to be one of blood poisoning. That was on Wednesday night of last week, and on Sunday last the unfortunate young man died, in spite of every effort to save his hfe. Deceased was a very popular and widely known young man. It is only a year 01 50 ago since he married the daughter of Mr Job White. The firm of Smith & Richardson have been noted for years for the heavy horses raised by them.
