U. Irwin a very pretty wedding took place, when their second daughter, Gladys, became the wife of James Victor Ormiston, of Allandale. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Black, assisted by Rev. Mr. Dodds, of Sonya. The bride looked lovely in a gown of shell pink satin, with an over dress of lace and seed pearls; wearing thé groom's gift-- a pearl pendant. Mise Helen Irwin, sister of the bride, played the Wedding march. The wedding party then partook of a dainty luncheon. The happy couple left on the evening train for a brief honeymoon, the bride travelling in a taupe grey tricotint suit with hat to match.
