V. contemplate holding a big day in Port Perry on August 4th, It has not been definitely decided as yet. A Social Evening The Ladies' Class of the Metho- dist Church, of which Mrs. W. D. Harrison is the"teacher, spent a social evening together on Tues- day of last week when some thirty-two members were pres- ent, together with some official members of the church and Sun- day school and their wives. A brief program was given and re- freshments served. During the evening the class gave Mrs. Rus- sell Wilson a "shower" of useful articles in honor of her recent marriage. : CAESAREA This is the beginning of har- vest time for Caesarea. Egg Warehouse Bought Mr. Allan Goode has purchased the egg warehouse near the sta- tion on Water Street from the Bowes Company Limited, and takes possession this week. This building will make a good storage warehouse. The sale was effected by Messrs. Harris and Christy. Goes to Port Hope Mr. Egerton -Boyce, organist and choir leader of Port Perry Methodist Church is going to Port Hope to take a similar posi- tion in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church there. He leaves about the 1st of August next. but will continue his music class in Port Perry. Mr. Boyce has worked hard since he came here, and we are not at all surprised at his progress and promotion.
