This was the last game for this cup in the 1926 series and Claremont holds the cup until the winner of 'the 1927 series has been decided. The game Saturday night was witnessed by a fair erowd and the weather was not good football weather 'having rained during the afternon and some dur- ihg "the game which left the field very damp, Under the circumstances the game was well-played and the spectators. were well satisfied" with the game, The South Ontario football associa- tion held a meeting after the game at Brougham when the. entries. for the Connaught cup, the Ontario cup and the Sinclair cup were registered. The following are the teams that entered: For the Cannaught cup -- Oshawa City and the Oshawa General Motors. For the Ontario cup--Oshawa City, Oshawa Motors, Green River, Good- wood and Claremont. For the Sin- clair cup ---Brougham, Claremont, Green River, Goodwood, Cherrywood, Brooklin, On the draw for the Ontario cup Oshawa Motors to play at Green River May 25th. Oshawa City to play at Claremont May 31st. Good- wood receiving the bye. The date and place for the Can- naught cup was left with the Oshawa teams to decide they being the only teams to enter. The draw in the Sinclair cup was as follows: Cherry- wood at Brougham; Claremont at Green River, Goodwood at Brooklyn.
