CADET INSPECTION The annual inspection of Cadets at Port Perry High School took place on Monday, May 7th, at 10 am. The weather was fine and the boys made a splendid showing. Capt. Edwards, Military District No. 2, complimented the boys by saying it was the finest drill he Bo rahi year. He also spoke of the fine school spirit shown on parade. Stevenson, of Pontypool, spent a few days last week at the home of Smith Bros. Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson. and family lived some years in this vicinity and their many friends and neighbors will be sorry to learn that they left on Monday for their new home in Winnipeg. The remains of their son Capt. J. Stevenson killed January 5th when his machine crashed in the town of The Pas, Manitoba, and which were placed in the vault in Winnipeg will be buried in Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg on the arrival of his par- ents.
