The Troop met as usual last Thurs- day night. Everything from the signalling instruction by Mr, Densham to the various games and stunts thought up by the Scoutmaster helped to make the evening very interesting. The first of a series of First Aid talks was given by the Scoutmaster to 'the Scouts who are going on in the work 'for the second class tests. If you see any of the Scouts waving their hands as if they were crazy-- 'they're not. They're just practising Semaphore signalling and are pro- gressing very favourably too. It is the ambition of the Signaler to send a message around the Island before the is over. When this reaches you it will be May 2nd. Know what that means Scouts? Fine weather is coming with hikes, out-door activities and in the not-so-far-distant future the Scout Camp. O Boy what a prospect! The Second Scout Law A Scout is loyal to the King, his country, his officers, his parents, his employees and to those under him. Keep this law. Don't be afraid of being too loyal. Stick to your friends 'as long as you can--and then stick some more. That's the spirit that makes a family, a Scout Troop or a nation. Be loyal! Do a good turn daily.
