HIGH SCHOOL ASSEMBLY HALL The Board of Education at its meeting on Tuesday evening asked that the following information be given re the use of the Assembly Hall vy the public. The rental charges are $10.00 per night for the use of the Assembly Hall, only. This includes the use of | a suitable room for preparing lunch. Where both Assembly Hall and the Gymnasium are used the charge will be $15.00. Caretaking charges are $2.00 up to 12 p.m.and 50c an hour there after. McKay, who died on Tuesday, April 29th, 1930, was born in Huntsville, on September 4th, 1892. He was the son of the late Thos. Me- Kay, and Mrs. McKay, who is making' her home now in Port Perry. Mr. McKay has been living in Port Perry some ten years. Prior to that he lived in Huntsville until he was seven years of age, then the family moved to Toronto, where deceased was engayed with Price's Dairy and the New Method Laundry. In 1910 he married Miss Myrtle Jackson. Mr. McKay was well known in Port Perry as he has been in the dairy business two years, and the cartage business nine years. He was an industrious man, and very cheerful and kindly in his deal- ings with the public. His sudden death came as a great shock to the community.
