Cawker, D.D.G.M,, | of Ontario District, A.F. & A.M., paid an official visit to Cedar Lodge Osh- awa, on Tuesday evening. He was ac- companied by about twenty members of Fidelity Lodge, .Port Perry. The guest speaker of the banquet was W. Bro. Bell, Chief Parol Officer for On- tario. Bro. Bell's address was full of startling facts and figures regarding crime in Ontario, and how his de- partment deals with the parolling and bringing back to citizenship men who have erred but by their help have found their place in society again. Some of his stories were pathetic, as he told of how family ties were broken, homes wiped out, and misery suffered by inocent children. Some of the facts were amazing to those who are not acquainted with this side of human life. We are sure that if the citizens of Ontario could hear Mr... Bell's personal message, much of the erime could be eliminated. A meeting on Masonic Education is being held in Oshawa on Thursday, April 13th, to which all brethren of the district are urged to attend. R. W, Bro. Geo. W. P.
