Last month, the Old Timers hosted a 12-team "mixed" slo pitch tournament in Pontypool that raised some $6400 and another $1300 from the sale of caps and t-shirts. And the team turned the entire amount over to Sick Childrens Hospital through the CTV telethon, Team member Chris Campbell said the Old Timers got involved in raising money for the world famous hospital when a young Pontypool girl, Natalie Finney, had to spent a lot of time there for treatment of a serious illness.
