And he certainly can't do the carpentry work that kept him busy for more than 20 years These days, he passes much of his time at home painting by better known as "Lou numbers "It's a great way for me to pass the time," he told the Citizen in an interview at his home last week He has completed dozens of these paint-by-numbers scenes, has given many away to family and friends, but had reached the point where he wasn't He's proud of the paintings he has completed. "They are not the kind you might hang in your living room, but they would make a nice Christmas gift for a youngster or to put in the rec room," he says And any funds raised for the ALS Society would certainly help.
