My recipe has been used by may family many generations now. It's simple - both-the method and the ingredients. I've made this recipe in multiple batches of 3. The mixing is awkward - usually in the biggest roast pan to be found. Carrot Pudding 1c. grated carrot 1c. grated potato 1 c. brown sugar 1c. ground suet 2c. flour 1 tap. baking soda 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon il 1c. currants SO QUE I PORT PERRY CATERING for WEDDIN( Okd Fashioned Buicher Shop Carrot Pudding 1c. mixed glazed fruit Mix together Place in foil lined casserole, loaf pan, or bundt pan. Place in bottom of large, deep roast pan. Add hot water, about 1/2 way up the sides of the pudding container. Cover roast pan tightly with foil. Bake at 350° until cooked, checking after about 1 hour. Remember to recover pan tightly each time you check. Cool before wrapping in foil. Store in refrigerator or freezer until needed. I always slice the pudding (cold) before re-heating on Christmas day. Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy. Call me if you don't have a favourite sauce recipe and I'll share mine.
