HEATHSTYLES & HOME COOKIN' healthstyles deb mcdonald When it comes to cookies, your kids are your best critics. There's generally no comparison between "store- bought" and freshly baked cookies. Many commercially prepared varieties contain certain additives and preservatives, which are of no nutritional benefit. As well, it is not uncommon to notice on the list of their ingredients, a tropical oil included such as palm oil, which is a highly saturated fat or even lard. March Break Chocolate Chums So dq your kids a favour and prepare more nutritious snack foods, which also are high in flavour. These double chocolate oatmeal cookies are a real hit with chocolate lovers and contain less fat.
