Gators vs. League stars in benefit for Wayne Allan The Toronto Gators will take on the Oshawa City and District League All Stars in a benefit fastball game September 6 at Durham Fields. The Angels lost 6-5 to the Midgets, came back with a 19-4 win over the Oshawa Junior Two team, then blanked the Scugog Angels 2-0 before handing Cobourg a 5-1 defeat to advance to the championship. Angels will take a couple of days off before resuming practice this week in preparation for their trip to Moncton, NB where they will defend their Eastern Canada Ladies Fastball title.
