The team is made up of 24 girls ages 12-15 from Port Perry, Oshawa, Whitby, and Ajax. They were selected during try- out camps last summer. In N ber the team peted in the Exeter Challenge and finished 4th. This coming weekend the team will be in Sudbury to compete in a challenge cup event. And that's the final event before the one everybody's looking forward to: the Ontario Winter Games to be played March 8-12 in Niagara Falls. This all star has received solid support from the Central Region organization in terms of finances and ice times. The girls express their thanks to president Tom Ellis and Maggie Stubbs, director of games and tournaments. And the Port Perry Ringette Assoc. reminds girls who are presently Tween and Petite age that they will be eligible to try out for this All Star team for the next Ontario Winter Games in 1997.
