Tom Mason, vice president of marketing for GM Canada said last week that sales in the early part of this year have been "softer than forecasted." But he went on to say that if interest rates begin to moderate in the second of 1995 as expected, "we anticipate that consumer confidence will begin to increase and be reflected by increased showroom traffic." No dunk tank An "ol fashioned church picnic" in Palmer Park June 24 has been given the green light by Township council. But not the dunk tank. Council agreed Monday that the dunk tank may pose an insurance liability problem for the Township since the picnic is being held on municipal property. However, council had no problem with other events planned such as games for kids and adults, gospel music and free food and refreshments See page 11 for more details The Florence Nightingale Home Foundation donated $4800 to the Community Hospital for the purchase of a stretcher to be used In the day surgery department.
