The league has seen a number of changes since its ion back in Sey ber of 1981 with a 6 team format. Expansion now allows for a 10 team slate involving 140 players. Unfortunately due to ice time restraints and the popularity of the league, entry is difficult and there remains a long list of area residents on the waiting list anxious to become involved with this recreational endeavour for adults. For the 15th year, 26 plays boast membership in all 15 seasons. Only two new openings were available this year and the league welcomes John Vaz and Bob Collins to the SHL membership.
