A second passenger, Cameron Sinclair, 38, of Mississauga is in Lindsay Hospital with serious injuries. The car was completely destroyed in the accident. The impact threw the car back onto the road where it spun around and came to rest in the east ditch. The tournament opens at 9:00 AM with a game between North Bay and Simcoe. Simcoe may be the team to beat in the tournament with a strong pitcher who played with the Oshawa Juveniles at the Canadian championships in BC recently. The tournament will be a double knock-out format with the final slated for 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM if necessary.
