As of July 2, Dr. Forster filled the vacancy and is now "tHe new doctor" in town. While he's new to us, he isn't new in his profession. At 52, he's had an extensive medical career. After graduating from the University of Durham in England in 1966 with his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery, he immigrated to Canada. Since, he's had family practices in Mississauga, Ottawa, Hornepayne and St. John's, Nfld. Home for six acute care beds, Dr. Forster remained there until his arrival in Port Perry last month. Probably the mpst dramatic experience in his medical career was when he volunteered his services to work with the Mother Teresa Sisters of Charity in Calcutta in 1989.
