Assisting on these two goals were Casey VanSchagen, Derek Tindall and Adam Hobbs. Ryan Fraser played between the pipes for Port and put in a solid performance of the Country Style Donuts. Next up for the Port F' Perry Bantams was a Saturday evening. MoJacks have not lost since November 5 when they went down 3-2 to Georgina. They have five wins and a tie since that date. MoJacks are on the road this a for starting Friday night when they travel to Sutton to take on the Ice. On Saturday they are are in Warkworth for an inter-locking game against Campbellford Rebels and next Tuesday « they travel to Uxbridge to resume the war with the Bruins. We had previously beaten trenton to the tune of 7-0, but this was a different _ bunch of boys who showed up fromwTrenton tonight. From the drop of the puck you could tell they weren't going 'to be embarrassed, again. After the first period vag over, Trenton had jumpe out to a 3-0 lead. The second period started with Port working hard to get back into the game. Their efforts were rewarded with two quick goals early in the period. Wyatt Park led the charge with the first goal followed by Trqy Campbell for the second. Assists went to Scott Jeffrey, Adam Hobbs, Nick Pelyk and Dave Gainey. Trenton rebounded with their ' fourth, but Port Perry roared back, with goals ! "from Brad Johnston and 'Wyatt Park to end the second 4-4. Danny Lyons, Ian Parliament and Dillan Weber drew the assists on the goals. The third period was a barn _burner with end to end action as each team fought to gain the upper ' hand. Early in the third Dillan Weber scored to give Porta 5-4 lead with assists 'Boing to Dave Gainey and glenn McCready. Trenton were not going to give up yet as they turned on the jets and scored two goals for a 6-5 lead. Port rallied again as Adam Hobbs tied the game at six with the help of Dillan Weber and Troy Campbell. Unfortunately for Port, Trenton were not going to give up and they scored the winner late in the period for a 7-6 win. Tween C meet the Sharks The Guardian Tween 'C' girls played the Sharks from Omemee on November 19. Team effort steadily improving and Alaina having her best game in goal were not encugh to win this game. Omemee came out fast and controlled the early part of the game, peppering many kept our girls in the gime until they could get their . offense on track. Finally at +12:89 the vigitors slid one in and the first period ended 1-0 for Port tied the score 14 seconds into_the second period. Shannon started the play in the central zone by passing to Sheena who carried the ring into the corner. Then. cutting to the middle she was able to pass back to Shannon who managed to pick the corner. Thirty seconds later the Shark$ scored. After hitting the post, twice, the Guardian ~ Tweens tied it up. Agaig Shannon made a nice pass to Alaina B. 'who swooped in and went to her backhand for the _ marker. Our girls poured on . managed the pressure and again hit the post, Sarah on a breakaway hit the crossbar. Omemee to score twice more ~ and the final ended up 4-2 for the Sharks.
