2 =p" 6-- Secugog Citizen = Tuesday, January 9, 1996 BB Local faces featured in photo exhibition by: Heather McCrae A charming sample of Charlotte Hale's = photography is currently on display in the Kent Farndale Art Gallery. A resident of Port Perry for the past seven years, Charlotte's predominantly 'black and white' show collection is mostly shots of local people and her family. What taught my interest, mostly is the fact I know most of the people Charlotte's caught in her camera lens. Charlotte became interested in photography as a teenager. When she enrolled at Durham College in an advertising course, photography was one of her subjects. "It just clicked right then" is how she described it to the Citizen at a reception on the weekend. "After graduation I got a small business loan and started up "Big Shots" my own professional photography business" she said. She says she also got a good start meeting the local people and photographing them when she voluntarily worked as a photographer for the WT Scugog Citizen a few years ds Her collection which is. usually done with a 35mm Pentax or a Bronica medium format is on display until January 26th. "The Kent Farndale Art Gallery is located at the Scugog Memorial Public Library, 231 Water St. 'Gentlemen' add second concert Jean Kennedy was a wonderful lady of our community.
