The first game was on March 15 against South Point, a team from Windsor area. Even though they were equally matched and Port had a fair share of penalties, 'end to end action continued thru out the gagne with Port coming out on top with a 1 - 0 win. Our lone goal was scored by Matt MacMaster and assisted by Scott Dyncan. «+ Earning the shut out and MVP was our man between the pipes, Carl Evans. Our next game was early that evening against Scott Park from Hamilton. The bdys kept the pressure on thru out the game winning 5 - 0. Chris Monsma guarded the net stopping several good shots. Scoring for Legionnaires was Dean: VanCamp (2), Jason Whitworth (2) and Sean Jeffrey (1). Earning assists during the game were Scott Duncan, Dave Justynski, Steve Wygerde, Braden Tarbotton, Chris Skerratt, Grant Hooker, Matt MacMaster and Mark Blakely. Dean VanCamp was hgnoured with MVP. Saturday morning on March 16th the Legionnaires hit the ice at/ 8 a.m. against Pelham, Welland winning 5 - 2.
