ARSENEAU, Olivier

̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄

After a battle with cancer, Olivier Arseneau quietly passed away at 9:15 am on April 30th, 2021. Olivier is survived by a loving wife, Reseda Arseneau (Brideau), married since 1955, his sister Marie, daughter Janet (husband Dave), sons Gene (Janie) and Dan (Marivi), and son-in-law Rob (late Denise). He also leaves behind grand children Alex, Ginny, Shane, Michael, Jessica, and Audrey. Great grand children Owen, Finley, Ayla, Luca, Silver, and Lakelyn. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Born on January 27, 1933 in Inkerman, New Brunswick, to father Eugene Arseneau and mother Francoise Robichaud,

who predeceased him. A dedicated employee of General Motors for 35 years, member of the Knights of Columbus (#8549), member of the French Club and volunteer for a variety of charities. Olivier is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gertrude, Lina, Helene, and Emma. Brothers Jean and twin brother Joseph. Olivier was also preceded in death by his son Allen and daughter Denise. Olivier requested to be cremated. A private family service will be held, and his cremated remains will be interred at the family plot in Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby Ontario, on a later date.
