The tenants Saturday morning Blair and Water- worth created a commotion in the Alvin Apartments. Pitt and Dougall Avenues. The building is owned by Alderman Edwards. The tenpants complained, according to Edwards, that the officers went to the apartments, became intoxicated and molested the various occupants, The defense of the two policemen is that they went to the building in response to a telephone call report- ing & slaying in the building. The officers said that they found a num- ber of drinking parties in progress in the building and tried to quiet them. They denied molesting any of the tepants or handling them roughly, .
