Ashburn and Whitby then played a good game with Whitby 'winning. Then the most interesting game followed: when Whitby and Oshawa played off, Oshawa winning {§ easily by 11 to 8, Their pitcher and catcher did some very clever work, The crowd enjoyed the races especially the ladies' balloon event. The baby show was the next attraction with eight entries, The proud mothers of the prize winners were: 1st, Mra, F, Middleton; 2nd. Mrs, Ted Willis; 8rd, Mrg. David- son.
