Lieut.-Col. Chappell, commanding the regiment is assured that 160 non-commission- ed officers and men will take part in this volunteer outing for which the citizens of Port Perry are making such elaborate' preparations. At a parade held fn the armourles | last evening, special ceremonial drill was carried out mosy efficient- ly, and it 1s certain that the program to be given hy the Regiment on La- bor Day, will add to its many laur- els and make new friends for the citizen soldier, 'While an advance guard of the regiment will go to Port Perry on Saturday, September 3, the Regi- ment proper will not arrive until Sunday. After reporting to their camp, which the advance party will prepare for them, the Regiment will take part in a great church parade service in which Port Perry and District Veterans will take part. Rev. and Hon, Captain Jarrett, chaplain of the regiment, will preach at the service, Following the Church parade there will be a formal guard mount, and the Ontario Regiment hand will render a concert, A guard mount compgfition is now under way hetween A, B, and C.
