Charge Withdrawn Gordon Scanlow arrested in Toronto for the local police on a charge of theft was allowed to go when he appeared before Magistrate A. F. Hind in police court this morning. The information was withdrawn, Assault Case Adjourned ; A charge of assault against John Knysh, Oshawa, preferred by his wife, Helen Knysh, was adjourned in police court this morning by Magistrate A. F. Hind. Mr. Louis Hyman appeared for the complainant and asked for the adjournment. Auto Hits Child : J. Lawson, driving an automobile on south simcoe street, festerday struck a little girl. She was uninjured. Mr. Lawson offered to take the youngster to a doctor and defray all expenses but she refused to go. She was taken to her home, Fined $100 and Costs : Phillip Druz, charged with having liquor in a public place was fined $10¢ and costs by Magistrate A. F. Annis, King street, Qshawa. collided with a Ford Car, the owner of which is not known, on King street last night. Car Skids Into Collision 1 Johnson's taxi driven by Rupert Aldsworth, was in a collision with an- other automobile driven by Bertie Ward on Athol street last night.
